MOTHER JUDITH, PDDM, REMEMBERED

January 20, 1972, the beautiful and dedicated Mother Judith Benzo, PDDM died of stomach cancer (1 1/2 months after Father James Alberione died--whom she cared for so well). Nobody even knew she was sick.

FR. ANGELO BIANCALANA, VOICE OF FR. ALBERIONE!

Father is a Comboni missionary from near Pisa (Northern Italy). He is 80 years old and speaks fluent English from his years in Uganda.

He recorded the voice of Fr. Alberione on the 80th Anniversary of the arrival of the Daughters of St. Paul in the USA!

Turns out that our engineer (standing) Armand Ciabattari's family is from a town 10 miles from Fr. Angelo's town, and Fr. Angelo knows some of Armand's cousins. More miracles, of course!

RIP: FR. ANTONIO SPECIALE, SSP

Fr. Antonio Speciale, SSP, 89, whom we interviewed for the documentary, was Fr. Alberione's personal secretary for 20 years and kept a "Diary" of Alberione's daily activities.

RIP, dear Fr. Speciale (he really was "special"). When he came to be interviewed, he had two holycards each for us. He didn't want makeup or to take his glasses off: "It doesn't matter what the outside looks like! It matters what's inside! If you love Jesus more than me, you will go higher in heaven!"
